  • Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity Recruitment

I would like to start by welcoming you the the website of the Alpha Zeta Chapter of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. I am Kevin Morgan, a Freshman at Kansas State majoring in milling science. While I have only lived in the house for a little over a semester now, I can not imagine life without AGR.

Alpha Gamma Rho is more than another housing option, AGR is a brotherhood that will last a lifetime. As a member in Alpha Gamma Rho, you will experience what it is like to live in the only Social/Professional Agricultural Fraternity at Kansas State. As a member of the Alpha Zeta Chapter, you will establish contacts and relationships that you will never lose. These contacts and relationships will help you to establish yourself both in your career as well as in the agricultural industry.

As you begin to look at potential colleges, I encourage you to consider both Kansas State University as well as the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. AGR offers benefits unmatched by other housing options, whether it be on-campus housing or other fraternities.

Alpha Gamma Rho has always been innovative. Our constant strive for innovation led leaders of Alpha Gamma Rho to create the brotherhood program. Unlike any fraternity at Kansas State, Alpha Gamma Rho has virtually no pledge period. The national brotherhood program states that any new member must be innitiated within 72 hours of living in AGR. This means that within three days of moving in, you will become a full member and brother of AGR. This program means that new members are not treated simply as pledges, rather AGR believes that they should be considered equal to older members.

As the Vice Noble Ruler of Recruitment, I am constantly looking for men which will help add to the outstanding reputation of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. If you are intersted in Alpha Gamma Rho or would like to visit with me about the house, feel free to shoot me an e-mail at kevind@ksu.edu or give me a call at 913-837-0165. Good Luck in your strive for a higher education!
